Description - doTERRA Ravintsara essential oil
Ravintsara is an essential oil derived from the leaves of Madagascan Camphor Trees, which have a high eucalyptol (1,8-cineole) content. Trees of the same species grown in China and Taiwan are generally known as Ho Wood and have an essential oil that is chemically higher in linalool.
Ravintsara has a chemistry similar to Eucalyptus but milder. Ravintsara is ideal as an aromatic refresher and combines well with Roman Chamomile, Copaiba, Eucalyptus or Rosemary essential oils in a diffuser. You can also incorporate it into your favourite dōTERRA skin cleanser for a unique, refreshing aroma.
